DESCRIPTION:Artist Janavi Mahimtura Folmsbee captures the choreography of marine life—the color\, form and rhythm of the world’s oceans—in her upcoming exhibition Magic Water. The works will be on display from April 18 through June 7 at the Rockport Center for the Arts\, 204 S Austin Street in Rockport\, Texas. A public opening reception is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday\, May 9. The exhibition features 178 components over four large wall installations\, stretching across the artist’s oeuvre\,  including porcelain sculptures\, underwater photography\, oil paintings\, mixed-media works and nine large-scale vinyl prints.
